Payment methods

Purchasing using Maksuturva Invoice or Part Payment

The Maksuturva Invoice and Part Payment service provides a secure and flexible option for funding your purchases in one or several instalments. The creditor for the invoice and part payment service is Lindorff Invest Oy. You can select invoice as your method of payment if your purchase exceeds 20 euros or part payment if your purchase exceeds 30 euros and is no more than 2,000 euros. The payment method requires a Finnish personal ID number, a permanent, official address in Finland and a minimum age of 20 years. The method of payment is only available to private individuals. An own credit stoppage or withheld information may prevent the use of the payment method. When purchasing using the Invoice or Part Payment, you are required to provide identification using your online banking details in the bank’s TUPAS service. In this case, you may freely choose the delivery address, whether it is a parcel point, summer cabin, or your place of work. Your credit details will be checked against a credit information company and a credit decision will be made in real-time. The credit decision and checks are carried out by Lindorff Oy, and the details are not saved on the seller’s customer data register. After an approved credit decision and purchase you will receive a paper invoice or e-mail invoice as you prefer. Please note that the invoice will be provided no earlier than approx. two weeks after your order has been delivered. This is so that you will always receive an up-to-date invoice which also accounts for possible returns. If you require further information about a negative credit decision, please direct your inquiries to Lindorff’s customer services. If you choose the invoice option, you will benefit from an interest-free payment period of 14 days. If you choose to pay for your purchase in instalments, you can select the payment schedule that best suits you from the options given either directly while completing your online purchase or later on once you have received your invoice. A credit agreement with Lindorff Invest Oy will come into effect once you have paid the first instalment by the due date on the invoice. Depending on the sum of your purchase, you can choose from between 3–24 instalments. Instalments are invoiced monthly. The monthly credit payment for each instalment is €3 and the interest on the instalment is 15%. The annual percentage rate for credit of €1,500 over a typical payment period of 12 months and accounting for monthly instalments is 23.1%. The service does not bind you to a permanent credit relationship. Costs and interest determined by law will be charged in the event of any delays in payment. Due date transfers will be carried out in accordance with general credit terms and conditions. You can read more about the general credit terms for the invoice and part payment service and the standard European Consumer Credit Information form and save a copy for yourself when verifying your purchase.

Returns

If you return products, Lindorff will reimburse outstanding credit automatically once it has received information from Maksuturva concerning an approved return. If you wish to return an order which has already been paid for, you should submit your personal and account details in writing to Lindorff's customer services.

OUR HISTORY

It all began with buttons.

And it all started with a real need: Kaija Aarikka, then a textile arts student at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki, was unable to find any buttons to go with a dress she had designed. So she made them herself.
